Please don't be afraid. There will, of course, be a comprehensive introduction to the boat's technical equipment, its handling, and its inventory. Your holidays should pass as easily as possible and just like you the captain that follows you is already looking forward to a water hotel that is in good working condition. A precondition for that is the responsible handing over of the boat at the base.

After your booking you will receive a complete inventory for the fully equipped boat (bed linen are usually included).You will also receive from us the most important navigation rules, instructions for the locks, breakdown service, and insurance regulations. On board of your boat you will find a regional guide for rivers and canals. We recommend, however, that the traveller prepares him or herself for the journey already at home. There is a wide selection of literature on the topic in almost any language.

With the help of an inventory you will check the boat's equipment in the presence of the relevant staff. A short test run with the boat overseen by an employee of the base will take away all remaining fear from you. Finally you can start! In case that there should really happen some kind of a breakdown on the boat there is no need to panic. One call at the base is enough to have qualified help on the spot.
